Blackbird is great! Personable, responsive and reasonably priced! I had a very unpredictable closing and they worked with my moving schedule. Highly recommend!

David was very quick and responsive to answering my call for help. His team showed up ahead of time, worked longer than I originally thought that I needed helpers, in fact I thought I only needed two people for a couple of hours and I ended up needed them for 8 1/2 hours and actually could have probably used them both for about a half a day more. David also was able to promptly bring them boxes to be able to package everything up. I too thought I had plenty of boxes. David and his team are definitely professionals in this business and know what it takes to get the job done and I believe David went above and beyond to quickly help me out when I was in a very stressful and desperate situation. His team showed up and they worked judiciously, methodically and we’re very clean, polite and upbeat. You could tell that both ladies enjoyed their line of work and work together well as a team. I would highly recommend anyone considering needing to hire a packing and loading team/company to hire Blackbird Moving and Supply. I will be recommending them to anyone that asks me who we used as packing / movers for our grand move. We have lived in our home for 21 years, therefore, it was a lot to pack /and or get rid of and we had a 2400 sq ft home and a 700 sq ft garage.

No only David provided a very reasonable quote for my moving, he is the only one among the many that I contacted who cares about coming over to walk through my house in order to get a good estimate. On top of that, he honored his unique promise that I will only pay one additional hour if the moving takes longer than his quote, no matter by how many hours longer. This further take away my fear of a running tab turned in to 3 times of initial budget that just happened to me on another hourly rate project a week ago. I also really appreciate the integrity, transparency, and accountability that he and his entire crew showed during our moving. No matter how hard the task, or cumbersome our ask was the crew would just get them done without any altitude or complain. My family and I thank them for providing such a reliable and great moving experience. His crew provides the best customer service even at his absence, by going above and beyond our expectations. I highly recommend David and blackbird for their moving and packing service and I will come to them again if I need it in the future.

David and his team made a stressful move immeasurably less so. With 2 toddlers and a newborn my husband and I needed help packing up our nearly 2400 sq ft apartment. David did a full walkthrough and went through a quote with us in advance so there would be no surprise charges. His team was prompt, professional, worked incredibly hard the entire time they were with us and did excellent work. We have unpacked all of our boxes in our new home and not a single item they packed was broken or damaged. They provided all the needed packing supplies, but also used supplies we already had and proactively discounted any supplies they provided that went unused to save money for us. David was easy to communicate with and highly responsive. He was very flexible with timing and availability. We would absolutely hire again and recommend his services without reservation. Blackbird wasn't the cheapest option, but the quote was incredibly fair and the work quality was excellent. I would much prefer efficient and well done work and a vendor that values themselves appropriately than simply shopping for the lowest price. Don't hesitate to hire Blackbird if you need packing help.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing is straight forward, transparent and very competitive. We charge $50 an hour per hour, per packer or mover. If you need boxes and packing supplies, we stock every thing needed for packing your home, and can include them in the quote and bring them on the day. When the job is completed you will only pay for the boxes and supplies actually used.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Packing and moving are very stressful and can be overwhelming. We understand this and want to lessen the load with an easy process to get you packed. We can quote your packing one of two ways. We can do a quick walk through of your home or you can send pictures of what needs to be packed. Either way, we can turn around a quote for you within 24 hours. If you like the quote, we get your job on to the schedule the day you want it packed.
