I recommend this company to the highest degree!! She’s multi-talented and very professional. She saved my life, after my moving/packing company fell through and I had to move the next day. I contacted her SUPER last minute and she was really eager to help me, and came that night and stayed until the job was done! And I mean like 9 or 10 that night!! She was quick to respond and punctual, and just such a nice, lovely person who brought such good energy into a stressful time. I have a back injury and had a lot of delicate, breakable, and sentimental things that needed special protection and are especially hard to pack for someone like me because you’re bending over and spending a lot of time on the objects. She showed up READY TO WORK! As soon as she walked in and I showed her the situation, and my OCD tendency about my precious belongings, she just went to town, organizing and wrapping up everything even more careful and secure than my OCD self would. She also was great with keeping me focused and coming up with ideas that simplified or made the work more efficient. I had two rooms to pack up and she worked so well, fast and with great professionalism, that I trusted her immediately- and I can’t even imagine what the situation would have been if I never hired her. Best of all- EVERY SINGLE THING arrived in perfect shape when we unpacked them. My experience with Hora Studios was very positive. We went through a 3k SF home and 2+ car garage top to bottom in less than 6 hours and attention to detail was excellent. Ms. Candace proved to be a major life saver during the COVID-19 Epidemic. Due to the travel ban (we are out of state), my son couldn't get to his dorm room to move his belongings. I contacted Ms. Candace and within 48 hours we had successfully coordinated his move, storage of personal items and even the shipment of personal effects he wanted during his stay at home. The total time was less than four hours and we didn't give her much to work with as my son was under the impression that he would be returning. I definitely would recommend her for all of your organization and storage needs. After the move, she provided pictures and conducted a follow -up once the items arrived to our home. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?A needs analysis is taken from the start and depending on your goals, we can determine how to utilize organizing strategies. On our first appointment I will quickly and efficiently go over the areas in question, discuss the desired changes and outcomes, offer immediate recommendations and then get started straight away. Some clients simply need a hand clearing the clutter, while others are interested in learning efficient organizational habits.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I earned my BFA in interior design from Harrington College of Design in Chicago, IL. After years of working in the design industry, I developed an interest in Professional Organizing and began working with one of the largest and highly acclaimed Professional Organizing companies in Chicago.
