- What types of customers have you worked with?
I generally spend my day tuning 2-3 pianos in customer homes and finish up the afternoon in my shop where I do Steinway piano restoration.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Pick a technician that you like and feel comfortable with. Don't settle for the cheapest person. This can mean they are not in high enough demand and likely are not very experienced. Piano tuning can range from around $100.00 up to $230.00 in DFW. Most accomplished tuners are around $150.00 +/- $15.00. The best of the best concert technicians can charge a little over $200 for a service call.
