Granite countertops thru-out the house were done as well as two shower glasses and grout. The showers were looking really old and cracked. They look great now. Can't say yet how it will wear - but so far so good!

My new home came standard with a very large granite island and countertops. Being such a centerpiece of the home, of course we wanted to make certain that it was going to have the best chance of looking it's best for as long as possible. Hydro Shield came to our home and applied a protective "shield" if you will that allows liquids and spills to be repelled by the granite protecting it from stains over time. The impressive side affect from this was a very noticeable new shine, as well as being much easier to wipe up and clean the surface as liquids quickly bead up and sit on top of the granite now in easy to see pools. We also had our shower glass treated as well as the sinks in the all the restrooms In our home. The shower is by far the most impressive, as we no longer have to spend five minutes after each shower using a squeegee to clean the glass. Every few showers we simply wipe the wet glass down with a cotton towel and the water is easily removed, leaving NO WATER SPOTS!! Incredibly convenient and time saving. The application process was very quick and simple and actually very cool to watch as the solvent creates a "smoke" as it penetrates the surfaces to seal them. The technician was extremely courteous and professional, and was a great representation of the company as he was very neatly dressed and clean. He was sure to clean up after himself and left no mess behind. I highly recommend this product and this company to anyone looking to have some piece of mind in a new or older home. It seems so simple but the glass treatment has changed my mornings and saves me so much wasted time getting ready, fooling with a squeegee. If you are OCD like myself, this is a must have! My only complaint is that I did not know about Hydro Shield sooner... I had recently paid another company entirely too much money to have my grout sealed, just to find out there was no real guarantee on the seal or how long it might last. I saw some of the before and after pictures displaying what Hydro Shield is able to do with tile and grout, and it was amazing. It looks like I will be calling Hydro Shield back out next year to re apply my grout sealant!
