Clint shot a promotional video for me, and I couldn't be happier! He worked so hard to get exactly what I wanted for my business. He was very professional and delivered an awesome product!

Working with Clinton on my last few projects was a blast. He's very thorough and attentive. He had great ideas to add to the overall vision I had for the videos and is a great visionary himself. If you you want a little more that just a regular videographer Clints your guy!

Overall great experience. I had no idea how I wanted to do my music video until I came in contact with Clint. I was overseas at the time of contact but that didn't slow anything down. There was great communication between us the entire time until I returned back to the states. Upon first talking to Clint, I let him hear the song and from there things just took off. He immediately started pitching ideas and concepts which I felt really went with the theme of my song. From there he had an entire script written out already with scenes and everything within a week or 2. When it came time to shoot everything seemed flawless and worked like clockwork. The overall final product was delivered in a timely manner and turned out great. I will definitely be doing more work with him in the future. I have also referred him to some of my fellow artists that are looking for video production.

All of the footage and the final clips looks good and he did a nice job overall. His camera work is good – with the interview and testimonial shots he did a nice job with the backgrounds and dropped focus – it brings your eye to the subject, but there is also a nice sense of place. He also did a good job with the audio – the environmental background sounds are pretty well balanced with the subject and the music selection and volume is complementary and not distracting. And he didn’t go overboard with title graphics. He’s not cheap, but he was good to work with and the value of the deliverables is there. I would say that we consider him for future jobs in Dallas.

Hired on Thumbtack

Hired on Thumbtack

I hired Clint to film my proposal to my fiance. Of all the bids I received here on Thumbtack Clint was the only one who had a professional reel of his work. He also came in far below the bids of several others. Not because he's "cheap", but because he was the only person who quoted me based on what I wanted and what he needed to do to make it happen. I was very clear in my description of what I wanted and it seems others were giving me bids for packages that were far and above what I needed, just trying to make as much as possible off the gig. Clint specializes in filming such events and was very familiar with the location where I wanted to do it. He actually met me there a couple of days before the event and walked the entire area with me, evaluating every possible spot and helping me choose the best location to make the proposal. All of which, mind you, he included in the very reasonable price he charged me. I wanted the proposal to happen at night at a popular park here in the city. Many videographers would charge extra for special equipment and show up with bright spot-lights. This would have totally ruined the beauty of the scenery, which is why I wanted to do it at night there. But Clint expertly made use of the lighting in the park and showed me exactly where to stand so he could get the best shot and have the best light. As a result the video came out beautiful and very natural-looking, without any bright spot-lights shining on us. And, unlike many proposal I've seen, the final edit was short and sweet rather than dragging on for 10-15 minutes. My only complaint was that turn-around seemed to take a long time to me. He did tell me how long it would take and he did deliver in that time frame. I just thought that was a long turn-around. But this was my first time, so I really don't know what the norm is in that regard. So I wouldn't take any points from his level of service or the product he delivered for that. Overall it was a great experience, from his own enthusiasm and excitement about shooting my event to the final video, which was absolutely beautiful and exactly what I wanted. I'll certainly be using him again and recommending him to everyone who asks about the video. Thanks again Clint, Ron

FAQs

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I fell in love with the romance of motion pictures from an early age. I wanted to bring that same kind of story telling to advertising.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

Live event documentation and online advertising make up a majority of our work.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

More money does not equal more results. Many times too much money thrown at a project can drown the message and what you are ultimately trying to accomplish.
