Introduction: Diego Burciaga was born in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, on August 6, 1990. He began his professional studies as graphic designer in the same city in August 2008, at the Instituto de Arquitectura, Diseño y Arte of the Universidad Autónoma de Ciudad Juárez. He completed five semesters and later moved to El Paso to continue with his bachelor's degree, including a minor in communication studies at The University of Texas at El Paso. Diego has worked as a freelance designer and photographer since 2009. His experience as designer goes from editorial (magazines, newspapers, books) to identity and packaging. Burciaga has acquire a total of eleven awards for his participation as Layout Editor and Art Director for The Prospector and Minero Magazine, the last one earning a third place national award by the Associated Collegiate Press. Currently, Burciaga is extending his skills in design and photography experimenting with video. Also, he is working on finish his bachelor's degree on graphic design on Spring 2015.
