I had a great experience with Model K-9, Amy was very knowledge and caring towards our dogs. She came in an evaluated where they were at and what we needed to work on immediately. She explained how she was training and why she was training that way. She put forth a plan to follow for training and we saw results. By the end of our sessions our problem puppy has improved dramatically. And they interact better with each other and with us. Would recommend

I have 4 dogs (all girls); 3 are generally very well behaved. My fourth dog, a boxer mix, recently seems to have developed a problem with one of my other dogs. There has been cage fighting and fence fighting and in a couple of instances, just plain fighting. And the SCREAMING when she gets excited: Oh, Dear God!!! 🤦🏻‍♀️ Amy walked in, listened to me tell her what was going on, and observed the dynamics while they were all in their separate kennels. She immediately said the boxer mix was craving mental stimulation. Amy told me she not an aggressive dog, but smart as a whip, and needs to dispel her energy in a controlled manner instead of being left to her own devices. She showed me an exercise to do with the boxer for 10 minutes, 3 to 4 times a day. It’s only been 4 days and due to physical restrictions, I have been able to manage doing said mental stimulation twice each day. What an absolute difference!!! It is peaceful in the house once again. I cannot wait for our next session to build on what Amy has taught me and see how far we (my dog and I) can go. Amy is amazing as a behaviorist and trainer and I highly recommend her to anyone and everyone who wants help with a dog. Some of the best money I have ever spent! Amy, I and my whole household, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We now consider you family.

One session with Amie and my dog is staying in her crate for over an hour!! Before our training session, we were lucky if she could finish a whole meal before starting to cry! Amie also taught me how to get my dog to stop jumping on and biting us. We were very happy with the outcome!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer military, police, firefighter and first responder discounts. We offer one time only sessions but to get maximum effect, package deals are encouraged.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our initial session is primarily a sit down session involving education/intake/recommendations. Then we move to training the dog.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have been certified through mentorships and internships from several notorious trainers with a combined 60 years of experience in support, service, foundational, hunting and protection dogs.
