Dan did an excellent (and quick!) job assembling 2 pieces of furniture for us that we did not have time to put together - we will definitely use him again in the future!
The fence repair was done quickly and professionally! Will choose again when the need arises.
Provided an excellent job on repairs on furniture damaged in a move. He knows what he is doing and doesn't waste time in making the repairs and making sure they are done right.
Background: My home had 30 years of do-it-yourself remodeling done prior to me purchasing it, and the drywall was in a very sorry state: multiple textures, popcorn ceiling only partially removed, uneven and sagging drywall on the ceilings, etc. Additionally, I had moved some walls and done a bunch of electrical work, which left some spaces without drywall / holes where old wiring was removed. The Planning: Roberto met with me and we walked through the entire house with an eye for not just fixing the issues, but also improving things to meet current trends. I found this extremely helpful, as we were able to strategically scope this first project to minimize rework in the future! Roberto stressed that he is a perfectionist, and ensured me that if things were uncovered during the project he would either fix them as well or bring me in to review what additional work would be needed. On day 1, Roberto arrived with a crew of 5 people and walked them through the project, splitting them up into teams for maximum efficiency. I checked in after the first day and found they had fully protected my floors with cardboard, sealed off and covered fixtures and furniture with plastic, and had already made a lot of progress. This inspired a lot of confidence, and I didn't need to check back in for the remainder of the project. The results are spectacular. What looked like a war zone now looks like a nearly brand new home! No sagging ceilings, all the same texture, smooth ceilings, a new wall enclosing a bathroom that previously only had a partial divider wall, and his team even fixed up some things they found as they worked. All in all, the project was done on time, very professionally, and with little interruption to my work schedule. Highly recommended!
My husband and I needed our entire bathroom and part of our master bedroom space redone and reconstructed. Gary was able to start right away, and we trusted him fully to work throughout the day in our home without us there. The project ended up being so much more work than we originally intended as our floor joints had to be completely replaced due to rot. Gary was patient with the project and his prices were very reasonable. He was very adept at framing the space (we moved several walls), and he was knowledgeable about every step of the construction project. Ultimately, the project called for him to utilize a very diverse skill set, including foundation work, carpentry, framing, structural re-enforcement, drywall work, electricity, plumbing, carpentry, patching wood floors, door and baseboard trim, tiling, cabinetry, and hanging a shower door. During the project, we even expanded our project past his comfort zone in a several areas (namely vaulting the ceiling and using a non-water based grout boost mixer for intricate tile work), but he was flexible with every step and achieved a result that looks stunning. Outside of the technical side, I want to commend Gary's communication, honesty, and professionalism. It was evident that he took a great deal of ownership in the project, and that showed in his responsiveness and willingness to communicate with us. There were mornings that he would get there and show us fixtures that he had been researching after he had gone home the night before. He was very responsive whenever we had a question, and he would send us updates throughout the day while we were at work. Obviously there are ups and downs with any contractor and major house project; I have never once heard of a perfect home renovation story. But Gary worked with us through any frustrating moments with grace and professionalism, which is often rare to find. Ultimately, we would hire Gary again for future projects, and we love our final result. Our bathroom is simply beautiful and we have gotten so many compliments already.
Oscar did a wonderful job on our dresser and it looks better than we had hoped! We really appreciate all of the hard work and professionalism from him and his family. I would highly recommend Oscar for any furniture staining projects and will absolutely be calling him again.
These guys were great! Came to install 2 celinng fans and a mini blind and ended up helping us move furniture in the house. Would definitely recommend them. Did a good job and were very personable!
We cannot say enough wonderful things about Blue and his team! We agonized for weeks over how/if we should seal and protect our brand new teak outdoor furniture, and had sticker shock when we saw some of the prices being quoted to us by other vendors. Blue provided a very fair quote to seal our furniture, and helped us understand the process and long-term value in protecting our furniture with his high quality product. We ended up bringing him out several times (he was very patient with us!) to do other pieces of furniture after we saw how well the sofa, table and chairs turned out. We highly recommend him and feel confident that our furniture will last for years due to his team's work. We plan on hiring him again in the future when we inevitably buy more teak pieces to add to our collection!
Phenomenal service, from the initial consultation to delivery of the finished product. Communication was great too. Highly recommend them for you furniture refinishing needs.
It was a pleasure meeting Foster Yates. Foster knew exactly what he was doing. Very professional, punctual and quick to response back to your request. I would recommend The Furniture Doctor and Foster Yates to anyone that needs repairs on their furniture.
Completed assembly of 6 furniture pieces ordered on-line for our bedrooms. Affordable, friendly and quality service. Met expectations. 100% Satisfied.
Belen Ellis has made each room in my house special! She transformed my living room by faux painting bricks on my fire place. They were solid and dull, she added warmth with her magic wand (paint brush)! She painted a mural in my kids play room, brightening the room and making it a happy space! She painted several pieces of furniture over 15 years ago for me, they have lasted the test of time. She is a perfectionist. She is talented. Belen is honest and trustworthy. Her pricing is more than fair. I have her beautiful art hanging in my house. I have precious gift cards that she has designed. She is a talented and gifted artist with a big heart!
Sheri at Furniture Medic is an absolute JOY to work with. She cares so much about making you as her customer happy. I highly recommend this business!
We hired The Home Store to provide interior design services to help update and redesign the layout of our living room and master bedroom. They also designed and renovated out kitchen and maste bathroom and did an outstanding job! They were very helpful with color and product pairing along with helping with furniture and accories for that living area and master bedroom styling. We have already hired then for our lake house and have referred them to friends. Their design showroom was extremely helpful with picking our products and pairing our colors and textures. Giacomo was patient and his experience with design and renovations helped bring the entire project together.
Joe is a focussed individual and assembled all of the furniture in record time. I added a few more furniture and he assembled them as well. Patient, well mannered and very helpful. You have my recommendation for this guy!
Brandy at Errand Girlz was great. Her ability to expedite delivery, removal, and installationg of my new furniture was refreshing. I will definitely use Errand Girlz for task or jobs I have in the future.
I have had multiple items made by Chancey. Items of all sizes, windows, kitchen table bench, kitchen islands, wood wall, and bookshelf stairsteps for my sons bed and more. He has an incredible eye for detail and i love that he is a perfectionist when it comes to ANYTHING he creates. All my pieces turn out beautiful. He is one of the best in the area when it comes to painting walls or turning old pieces of furniture into immaculate pieces of art. Vintage is my favorite style, but he has others that he is wonderful at. I highly recommend him. Patient, kind, hard working.
Scott went above and beyond my expectations. I had hired someone previously who walked out on the job so hired Scott to finish staining my fence and pergola. The staining was more effort than anticipated due to the choice by the previous hire, but Scott and his crew did a fantastic job. I would hire him again in a heartbeat.
