FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is based on your home’s size, condition and the type of clean, and you’ll always get a clear quote before I start, with no surprises. • Deep cleans are recommended for first-time visits, move-ins/move-outs and homes that haven’t been professionally cleaned in a while. • Recurring discounts: save [10%] on weekly or bi-weekly cleanings and [5%] on monthly cleanings after the first visit. • Add-ons: inside oven, inside fridge, interior windows, carpet shampooing and laundry are available for an additional fee. • All supplies included. I bring my own products and equipment, with gentle, low-odor options available on request. • Pets welcome! Homes with heavy pet hair may need extra time. • Cancellations: please give 24 hours’ notice to reschedule or cancel. Same-day cancellations may have a [$25] fee. • Payment is due when the clean is complete: [cash, Zelle, Venmo or card].
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Quick quote: Tell me your home size, the type of clean and any extras. I’ll send a clear, upfront price, usually the same day. Schedule: We pick a day and time that works for you. I’ll confirm the details, including access, parking, pets and any areas you want me to focus on. The clean: I arrive on time with all my own supplies and work through a room-by-room checklist so nothing gets missed. I can use gentle, low-odor products on request. Walkthrough: When I’m done, we do a quick walkthrough together (or I send photos if you’re not home) to make sure you’re happy with everything. Follow-up: If anything was missed, let me know within 24 hours and I’ll come back to make it right. For recurring clients, I keep notes on your preferences so every clean is consistent. My goal is to be the reliable, detail-focused cleaner you never have to worry about!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’ve been cleaning homes and businesses for years, and it’s something I take real pride in. My professional background is in quality assurance and quality control in the construction industry. That’s where I learned to work from detailed checklists, inspect work carefully and hold myself to high standards, and I bring that same approach to every clean. My construction experience also gives me a strong understanding of post-construction and remodel cleanup: what needs to be removed, how to handle fine construction dust and how to leave a space truly move-in ready. I’m experienced with caring for different surfaces the right way, including natural stone (marble, granite, travertine), hardwood, tile and stainless steel, using the correct products so nothing gets damaged. Every job follows a room-by-room checklist, and I’m always learning new techniques and products to give my clients the best results.
