The first lesson is me getting to know you and asking a bunch of questions. For little kids, it’s all about building trust and having fun the first few lessons. A new customer will need 12 weeks to find their groove as we set goals, evaluate learning style, and particular progression needs. Generally, people have target areas that need focus. Strengths and weaknesses are determined in this timeframe and coaching is tailored accordingly . It is fun, progressive, visually stimulative, rewarding and we laugh a lot.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My degree is in Music and I also have years of experience in the field. I have led worship for several varying sized churches from 100-700 people and I have been writing since I was 19. I have performed for thousands of people. I have taken relative psychology training and music therapy courses at SMU also.
