I worked with Jeff for an estimate on several projects. He was prompt to respond and schedule a time for the estimates. The recommendation that he gave for my front yard was different than the other 4 estimates that I received. Everyone else suggested two layers of stone which included mortar. That increased the price significantly. Jeff suggested going with one layer to account for how new the home is and that it would continue to shift. The likelihood that the mortar would crack would be high, and then I would have to pay for getting it fixed. I really like the way that the single layer turned out. We did run into one issue with a busted pipe. The landscaper connected with me immediately to let me know what happened and to shut off the water. The pipe was repaired quickly. When the job was done I did test the sprinklers and we found a nicked soaker hose. Since it was the end of the day, the owner came back out the next morning to fix it. All was well and my balance was paid. I would definitely use them again. This was a single day project where I declined to have them re-mulch my beds and tree rings with fresh mulch. The service provided was strictly adding the Leuder stone and putting old soil/mulch back in the area. I have since added my own weed barrier and mulch to the flower beds.
