- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
As a general guideline, a moving business might typically follow these steps when working with new customers: 1) Consultation: The moving business will usually schedule a consultation with the new customer to discuss the details of the move, including the moving date, origin and destination addresses, and the scope of the move (e.g. number of rooms, types of items to be moved). 2) Estimate: Based on the information gathered during the consultation, the moving business will provide the customer with an estimate of the cost of the move or the hours. This estimate may include charges for packing, transportation, and other related services. 3) Contract: If the customer agrees to the estimate, the moving business will typically prepare a contract outlining the terms of the move, including the hourly rate cost, payment terms, and any other relevant details. 4) Packing: Depending on the agreement between the moving company and our customer, the moving company may be responsible for packing and labeling the items to be moved. Alternatively, the customer may choose to pack their own items. 6) Transportation: The moving business will transport the items from the origin address to the destination address on the agreed-upon date. During this process, the moving business will take care to protect the items from damage or loss. 7) Unpacking: Once the items have arrived at the destination address, the moving business may unpack and arrange the items according to the customer's preferences. 8) Follow-up: After the move is complete, the moving business may follow up with the customer to ensure that they are satisfied with the services provided and to address any concerns or issues that may have arisen. Again, this is a general guideline for the typical process that we follow when working with new customers. The specific details of the process may vary depending on the moving business and the nature of the move.
