    One Love Events were great to work with! Whitney and Delina were worth every penny. I did not have to do anything the day of the event but show up. They talked with vendors and handled everything. You give them a budget and they can work magic with the budget. My daughter's Sweet 16 party was the talk of her school and she had the best time. I would recommend them and plan to use them for future events!

    Whitney planned my wedding and all events leading to the day! She and her team were amazing. She took time to personally know my style and likes. No matter how picky I was she always made me feel like she was always HAPPY to accommodate. She thought of what I didn't and at every event I was more pleased then the previous time. I think what I appreciate most are the framed pictures she would have up of my then fiance at every event now after all the craziness we have ready to go decor and pics for our new home! I was sad after the wedding because it meant I couldn't call Whitney to help solve my problems that was until I realized there are always other events she can do for me! I'm a customer for life!


How did you get started doing this type of work?
I work with my sisters and we have a very large family. My grandfather on my dad's side had 42 children. (Yes, papa was a rolling stone!) Growing up we were always hosting family dinners, so on a regular Friday night a small family gathering consisted of 40-50 people. Then we begin with birthday parties, graduation parties, baby showers, and then one of my sisters got married. That was the beginning of what we have found ourselves loving to do each day.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We do weddings and many birthday parties. That is balanced out with other events such as bridal showers, baby showers, and wedding rehearsal dinners.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I am proud to say that we had the opportunity to work with Disney World of Orlando on a Fairytale Wedding! Everything from a horse & carriage arrival to the ceremony, to The Grand Duke bringing the rings down the aisle, and even Mickey and Minnie Mouse joining the lovely couple to dance with them and cut the cake. It was absolutely amazing!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Be sure that whomever you choose as your planner that after your consultation you feel like you two could be best friends. Over the course of your wedding planning, you will get to know each other so well that you will truly feel like best friends when it is all over with.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I wish my customers were able to truly understand what all goes into planning any event. For a wedding on average 120 hours go into planning an entire wedding from start to finish. For planning any party or event on average 75 hours go into planning. It is important to understand that the more guests you have the higher your cost will be. Planning an event can be costly, so be prepared with a reasonable budget for your event.
