Joni was prompt and professional when responding to my questions. I did choose a different trainer because of driving distance.

Personal Training
My mother has been working with Joni for about a year now. She had significant muscular atrophy in her lower body and we looking for someone to design a specific program for her needs, track her progress over time, and stick with us for the long-haul. We got this, and 100 times more from Joni - she is a part of our family now. Her qualities extend far beyond her knowledge of the body and different training methods - she is a hugely motivating and positive person who gets great joy out of seeing her clients progress over time. She makes every session entertaining and different than the last, which challenges the body and makes exercise less boring and monotonous (which was very important for my mother). Joni has been the best thing that has happened to us in terms of my mother's recovery, and I don't know what we would do without her. We highly recommend her for any fitness or health goal that you have. Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions.

Joni is exactly what I was looking for in a trainer and so much more. She's professional, well-equipped for any workout, prompt with responses, flexible, and no-nonsense. She listened to all of my concerns and catered my workouts to fit my personal situation. She knows her stuff, and has the numbers to prove it. I fit into my old jeans after 2 sessions after taking her advice. All-around coach/cheerleader/motivator. I highly recommend to anyone looking to make a change towards a healthier lifestyle - you won't be disappointed!

FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? The first session includes a fitness assessment and a diet consultation. That session helps me develop a plan of action based on that first meeting. I also tell my favorite joke that no one thinks is funny but me!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work? This is going to be long. When I became a personal trainer, I wanted to be the best. I got nerdy and sciency about studying. So now I am a certified Specialist in Weight Loss, Performance Enhancement, and Corrective Exercise. Those certs aren't easy to achieve. I was certified as a POUND Pro in 2016. But I am the most proud of the most recent certification that I've been able to attain. I am one of about 100 in the country of certified Master Trainers by the National Academy of Sports Medicine. It took a lot of work to get that certification, and I'm very proud of it. I will say this, I could have all the certifications in the world, but my ability to connect with my clients is my greatest asset.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I was so overweight after having my children. I started to walk, and then I started to RUN. I wanted to reach people that need a jump start in their fitness journey. A friend offered me the opportunity to run a boot camp for his brainchild Transformation Bootcamp, recognized as the best weight loss program for several years in a local Dallas magazine. I hit the ground running and never looked back. I had found my purpose.
