Counseling is my life's calling and I take great joy in helping people strengthen their families, marriages, relationships, and overall mental health. I'm a licensed professional counselor specializing in: relationship conflict, marriage/family struggles, anxiety, depression, children/adolescents, ADHD, school behavior, parenting, addictions, grief and loss, abuse and trauma, career decisions, and issues with self esteem. I counsel from a faith-based approach that is warm, empathetic, and understanding to your particular struggles and needs. I offer concrete tools for practical and exponential improvement. I am highly committed to improving relationships, marriages, and families by focusing on communication between partners, providing applicable practices for conflict resolution, and strengthening vital elements of the relationship: love, trust, and commitment. The best part about my job is being an intricate part of my clients' lives in the most important way, helping them heal from brokenness, and watching them gain newfound strength and change their lives for the better.

I assumed counseling would only scratch the surface, and that the relationship between my boyfriend and I could not be salvaged. Paul not only noticed our deep-rooted issues immediately, but he helped us resolve them in a nonjudgmental atmosphere. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All sessions average from $125-150 and last from 45-60 minutes. I will work with your budget, because I never want finances to be the reason you do not get the help you need. I am also in network with BCBS ad Cigna. However, if you are using insurance you are limited in booking evening or weekend appointments.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I give all new clients a free 10 minute consult over the phone to see if we are a good fit together before we book.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas. I have a successful track record with hundreds of couples in the Frisco/Plano areas. I received my M.A. in counseling from Dallas Baptist University. I am a member of the Christian Association of Psychological Studies, where I am consistently learning and developing as a practitioner. I keep up with the latest material in my field and attend seminars and workshops regularly.
