He was quick and did an excellent job at installing my doors. They were sliding doors and he noticed it wasn't lining up to the wall and made sure to correct it. they look great. Thank you would hire him again. Really friendly guy too,
Adan responded to my custom request for help removing the glass panel in my oven so it could be cleaned. I'd seen some videos on YouTube and it looked like a fairly complicated process. Not to mention what a pain it would be if the glass broke.
Adan and I traded messages about the project. I was satisfied that he had the skills and knowledge to help. He was able to come by the same day. The project wasn't as difficult as I feared but I'm really glad that I hired Adan to do it. The oven door is cleaned and reinstalled. Looks great! Thank you!
From appointment set up to job completion, they did a great job. Were on time, took door down to virgin wood, stained and sealed and reinstalled in about 3 hours. Priced 6'8" door but door was 8". Didn't charge me any extra until I insisted. Will hire them for my next doors.
I hired Galveston Construction to remove both my neighbors' 6' privacy fences and my own 4' corral fence and replace them with one 6' pine privacy fence. They pulled out all of the old posts planted in concrete. They filled in all of the holes and erected a new fence using the latest construction tricks that I would have never thought of. They implimented a 2x6 Rot Board at the base with a 2x4 back creating a ledge to nail the slats into. The gates were framed in steel which he welded together, and included supports for additional strength. In addition to using only top grade lumber, the gate hardware is heavy duty and locks easily when closed. He custom fashioned the fence with great carpentry work around a few trees that were growing right on my property line. He was very careful to make sure that the neighbors were happy with the new construction. He even went as far as repairing the gate on the next door neighbor's fence that had been hanging in disrepair for years.
What I got from Stan was a beautiful fence that will remain standing for years and years.
Will I hire him again? I certainly will.
His bid was his word. And written on a signed contract. No add-ons, no additional charges, no hassles, no bull shit.
I never had a question as to what he was going to do at any time. A real pro.
Dave has done several jobs in and around our house since out garage was flooded in the Memorial Day flood in Houston. He first build a very sturdy and functional loft above our double-car garage door with removable ladder. He also replaced the damaged wallboard and trim, door locks, and even trimmed out a new garbage drawer in our kitchen that keeps beloved Bailey at bay with our trash!
Recently, Dave cut-out our marble tiles in our jacuzzi tub in master bath and replaced damaged faucet mounts and leak at the in-take valve. Replaced the tiles before my wife even knew we there!
Overall Dave is not only extremely versatile but his rates are very fair and he always shows up when says - Never any excuses and always a great results.
We received bids from several different companies to replace our wood fence and we chose Atlas Construction. John was very friendly and didn't seem to mind all of our questions. John and his crew were awesome! They showed up when promised. They did a beautiful job and we couldn't be happier! I definitely recommend John & Atlas Construction.
Simply put, there is not a better carpenter in Texas than Daniel Coronado. Daniel made custom cabinets for me out of White Maple wood and I have received a compliment from every last person who has seen the cabinets.
Daniel walked me through the entire process and spent about two hours going over different wood types, stains, and other specifics about cabinets. He never once got frustrated with me despite having limited knowledge on the subject. I was originally debating about getting designer cabinets, but, as Daniel explained, every cabinet is made from a finite selection of wood, so the only variable is the carpenter. In other words, the designer cabinets are made at the cost of tens of thousands of dollars even though they are made of the same wood as someone like Daniel would make. The big companies are just getting paid based on name recognition. The problem is finding a carpenter to trust. I completely trust Daniel.
We called to have 3 doors put into our house. They had to cut bigger holes in the house to fit the doors I wanted. AMAZING WORK! Everything turned out PERFECT! Highly recommend them! They get a 10+ rating from me!
Brent was great. After Harvey foundation on my 100 year old building shifted slightly making 6 doors get stuck or uneven with the door jam. He came out and repaired all of them to function perfectly. Will be using him again on another project soon.
K-Lou recently upgraded all of the baseboards and door trim in my house. They were respectful, hardworking, and focused on detail. They were eager to work with our schedules to complete the job in a timely manner.
I had a number of things that needed to be fixed at my rental house. Henry was very responsive and thorough. Repaired some fence pickets, did some painting and drywall repair, changed a light fixture, repaired a bannister, and repaired a shower door.
Nelson was great to work with and I have since recommended his company to multiple family and friends.
They did a beautiful fence for my backyard, new back door framing and window trim.
Their price was very competitive and the work was great! I was impressed with the workers' care and attention to detail.
I will be using Home Improvement Team as my go-to for any project I have in the future.
Had Pablo come out to add an outlet in my garage for my garage door openers... he ended up having to put in two. He also repaired a bathroom outlet while he was here. He did it all in a timely manner and did an excellent job! Will definitely use him again . My family has already hired him to do some work for them as well! Thank you!
Tim (and a helper) recently repainted all of the fascia and soffits on our 80+ year home. This also required some replacing rotted wood and copper flashing. The job took a couple of weeks. Tim is absolutely trustworthy (we gave him the keys to the house and gate opener), can do almost anything, and has high standards. The only problem we had was one of the doors stuck after it was painted. Despite the fact that we had already paid him, he came back and made it right.
