My mother, who is now 90 yrs old, owns a violin that belonged to her father. She remembers him playing it when she was a little girl. Sadly, he passed away when she was very young and no one had played it since. It had fallen into quite a state of disrepair and we were not sure that it could be restored. Fortunately, the artisans at Carraway Strings in Richardson, Tx did a fantastic job in restoring the violin. All was done without my mother knowing about it. For Easter, my brothers and I surprised my mother by telling her we hired a violinist to come play for us for Easter as an afternoon private concert. She was not aware the violin that Mary was playing was, in fact, her father's violin. After a few songs, we let her in on the secret and she was absolutely thrilled and speechless the violin had been restored so well and played so beautifully. Mary came well prepared and played it perfectly, which was great considering she had never played on this instrument before that day. Our family is forever grateful to Mary for giving up her Easter to help us give our mother a very special Easter gift! Thanks again Mary for giving our family an unbelievably memorable day.

Her work ethic was absolutely amazing, she came to all our meetings super prepared and asked all the small detailed questions that everyone else forgets about.Also, for the wedding we wanted to enter using a cultural song and she learned it and played it perfectly.
