Erik and his guys were very easy to work with. I wanted open cell foam for R-30 so that required the foam to be an average of 8” in thickness. As you can see from the pictures my 2x6 rafters that would be just shy of 5.75” are covered in most places by 2.5” so average of 8+ inches. Erik and crew cleaned up after the job was complete. I have a complicated attic with 5 large sections and they navigated all of them while dragging around the foam supply hoses without any problems. I’m planning on using Erik’s Insulation again to insulate our company warehouse office and other rooms. Yes I would recommend Erik and crew. In my house I have 12 mil vapor barrier everywhere which has been there for 32 years so I’m not really concerned about moisture making it’s way into the attic so where you would normally remove all the existing insulation I only had Erik remove it over the two bathrooms as the shower and tubs are the only real source of moisture in winter. As an engineer I plan to install a 50 pint whole house dehumidifier in the attic space $250 on Amazon which has a drain for continuous use so I’ll plum it into a sink vent stack. If moisture is too high it will kick on until humidity is back down. And I also plan on installing one inside the dealing space so too much moisture should not be an issue. Already my house is way warmer than same temperature outside before Erik’s foam. My home is over 4400 square feet with two story so heating in the winter has been an issue but now the heaters are off and just lights and TV’s and computers are keeping it warm. So to conclude Erik does great work, it was fast, straightforward simple and fare price negotiation and his entire crew was friendly, talkative and dedicated. You can’t go wrong using Erik’s Insulation for your house or business building new construction and or as in my case a retrofit!!! JamesInFrisco
