- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started out installing Flooring in 1992 in the Austin area at the age of 18. By the age of 21 I had my own Flooring installation business providing both residential and commercial Flooring installations.

TIP: Talk to a pro at your local home improvement warehouse about your project and ask about the items needed to complete and then multiply materials cost by 1.5 or 2 to get a ballpark for labor. If this figure fits within your budget you are ready to hire a pro to get the work done.
