FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing is based on the menu selections, guest count, event location, and level of service requested. We offer customized packages to fit different budgets and event needs. Additional fees may apply for delivery, setup, full-service staffing, chafing equipment, rentals, or other special requests. We are happy to work with customers to customize their menu and services while staying within their budget when possible. Discounts may be available for larger events, repeat customers, or select package combinations. A final quote will clearly outline all applicable costs before booking.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start by learning about your event, including the date, location, guest count, type of event, menu preferences, dietary needs, and desired level of service. We then create a customized menu and quote based on your specific needs and budget. Once you review the proposal, we are happy to make adjustments to the menu or services until everything is just right. After you decide to move forward, we secure your date with the required deposit and confirm all event details. As the event date approaches, we stay in communication to finalize the menu, guest count, timeline, setup requirements, and any special requests. On the day of your event, our team arrives prepared to provide the agreed-upon catering, setup, service, and/or cleanup so you can focus on enjoying your event.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our team combines formal business education with extensive hands-on experience in professional cooking and baking. Our chef brings experience in culinary preparation, menu development, Cajun and Southern cuisine, food presentation, and catering for a variety of events. Our baker has been baking since childhood and has extensive experience creating scratch-made desserts, including cakes, cupcakes, cookies, cheesecakes, pastries, and specialty desserts. This hands-on experience includes developing recipes, preparing large-volume orders, presentation, and maintaining consistent quality. In addition, our business background includes an MBA, providing a strong foundation in business management, budgeting, customer service, and operations. Together, our chef and baker bring complementary culinary skills and business expertise to create a well-rounded catering experience—from menu planning and preparation to presentation and event execution.
