- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Please note that the Thumbtack pricing given is a rough estimate based on your stated preferences/needs. Our moving service include the following: 1) Breakdown and assembly 2) Loading and unloading 3) Transport from pickup to delivery locations 4) Moving tools, dollies, and moving blankets We also offer delivery and same building moving services for small job consisting of fewer than 10 items at a flat all-inclusive rate starting at $155. Rate and Fees: Trip charge starting at $40 (varies with distance) Two man hourly rate is $80/hour Three man hourly rate is $95/hour Four man hourly rate is $110/hour Our estimated job completion time-frames based on past performance and dwelling size are below. 1 Bedroom - 2 to 4 hours 2 Bedroom - 3 to 6 hours 3 Bedroom - 5 to 8 hours 4 Bedroom - 6 to 12 hours Please note that stairs, transit distance and long walks add time to the estimated moving time-frame. Accepted Payments: We accept cash, checks and card payments.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once a customer has decided to use our service, we then ask for their phone number, email address and moving location information. Next we add the customer to our calendar and send an email confirmation to the new customer. The day before the move we call to verify that all is still a "GO" and to catch any potential issues.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our organization has had training from the Texas DMV association as well as 100s of hours of moving experience.
