My experience with Barnes Services was ah maz ing!! I did not have the necessary hardware and Don had to go buy the needed screws and did not charge me for the extended amount of time it took to get the job done. Also, I had a mailbox installed that came with stickers for the numbers and Don took the initiative to put them on there for me! He treated my project as if it were his own. The job was completed beyond my expectations and for great value. In the photo they installed the white bookcase, circular wall fixture, and the floating shelves.

Don did a great job with my door frame repair. He came on short notice and was able to fix the door frame within an hour. Both he and his son were very thorough, they cleaned up after themselves which I didn’t expect nor ask for. Finally, I was most impressed with their honesty in pricing. At the end of them being here, they listed out every single line item of what they were charging me for. I misheard their price at the end and when I told them the amount I would send via Zelle, they corrected me and said it was lower. They could have easily just let me send them more money than what they were charging for. I asked for their business card and will be contacting them again!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We charge an hourly rate for nonstandard jobs, however for some common home projects we offer a flat rate for example, replacing a ceiling fan, painting a front door, installing a garbage disposal, replacing a toilet, replacing light fixtures, and replacing a faucet.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with a new customer, we first want to provide our availability to the customer. We then want to get a thorough understanding of what the customer wants. Our goal is to develop an ongoing relationship with the customer so that when there is a need to repair or upgrade things at their home, they have a skilled handyman they can trust with the repairs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Handyman with more than 8 years experience conducting repairs on residential homes, apartments and offices. Skills include plumbing, flooring, painting, carpentry, electrical works. I have knowledge on using MS Word, Excel and have a valid driver’s license.
