Rev. Mcnaughten officiated our wedding this past weekend and she did a great job! We met with her about a month before the wedding, where she explained the whole process to us. She gave us plenty of options and made sure we were completely satisfied.

My now husband and I wanted to be married in a very small private ceremony. We are both very busy and I had no idea where to even begin planning a wedding. We are very much inlove and knew that we wanted to be husband and wife and not wait till we had more time or money to plan an extravagant wedding. I looked on line and first found a male officiant he said he could marry us that weekend and so I called him the day of and told him we were running a little late but were almost ready, he said the roads were too icy and did not want to get out too late so we rescheduled for another day. We called him on that day and he said he was sick and could not perform the ceremony. My fiance (at the time, now husband) was obviously very disappointed, so I started googling get married now and stuff like that. It took me to a website where I entered my info and that I wanted to be married that same night. Within a couple minutes my phone rang and it was Brenda! I asked her if she could marry us tonight and she didn't miss a beat she said yes! She asked where I was and where I wanted the ceremony and I told her we were going to do it at a waterfall restaurant here in Dallas but they might close early because of the ice so I was kinda nervous that it would be weird if we were there and they were trying to shut down. She said well how about the Gaylord Hotel it's decorated beautifully for Christmas and they are open all night etc. I knew I wanted her to do it right then cause the Gaylord was a much better idea then I had. She arrived before we did and even though it was getting late she was very patient and took us to look around at some pretty areas. I can pick up on people's vibes very easy so I was very happy that she was relaxed and not rushing me! When we were about to start of course my camera battery died so we had to wait and recharge it. Luckily her daughter and my oldest were on hand and used their camera phones to take most of our pictures. My children were running around and it did not phase her at all. The entire event was probably about two hours. Brenda had our wedding ceremony with our names all printed out which was cool and my youngest son wanted to say a certain part of the vows and she was happy to oblige and help him read the lines. She was really good and calm and patient. Whether you are doing a large, well planned out wedding; with gracious guest, or have rowdy, opinionated, intense family members, if you want some one that will stay cool calm and collected throughout the entire process and move with any last minute changes or unexpected obstacles and do it with a smile this is your lady.

Brenda performed our ceremony on Dec 7th of 2013. Two days before the ceremony, the bad ice storm hit North Texas! Brenda stayed in contact with me and eased by worries. She was dedicated to our wedding and even ice didn't stop her from coming! Brenda kept to our wishes about the ceremony being non-religious, including our son, and also including our friends. It was a beautiful ceremony and we were very honored that she performed it for us.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is a flat rate. When I know the location and number of attendees i am able to give a quote. I am in DFW and do not charge extra for traveling to the surrounding areas.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to do a meet and greet before or after I'm hired. The couple decide what type of ceremony they desire to have, Religious or Non-religious. I can either work with the couple via in person, email, text or over the phone.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I recently reorganized all of my wedding documents to be able to view from any device. I also am almosr finished with my new website. I'm very much proud of it.
