Introduction: About me: I am a Houston-based professional cellist. I perform with various ensembles in Houston and the surrounding area, including Mercury, Aperio, and the Symphony of Southeast Texas. In addition to maintaining an active private studio, I am a Lead Teacher for the Coda Program; a Houston Youth Symphony initiative inspired by “El Sistema” and a Teaching Artist for Mercury. I also teach cello and chamber music at the International Music Academy and at the St. Francis Episcopal Day School. I have worked with all ages and levels and will be happy to help you achieve your goals, no matter how big or small. I have many adult students, including beginners over the age of 60. It is never too late to start! Due to frequent performance engagements, my teaching schedule needs to be flexible. Therefore all lessons are pay-as-you go, and there are no contracts. You can choose to have lessons every week, every other week, or multiple times a week - just please give 24 hours notice if you need to cancel. I accept almost all forms of payment (just no cards).
