Introduction: Hi! I have been playing guitar for the last 20 years and for the last 7 years it has been my soul profession. I am a singer, songwriter, performer, and most importantly, a teacher. I feel so lucky to have the opportunity to do what I love foe a living and getting a chance to help fellow guitar players achieve their own personal goals in their playing. Originally i was skepitcal of the online teaching format but now i have realized the experience is so much better! I am able to have all of my equipment, piano, and visual aids are so easy with screen sharing. Stevie has really tailored his instructional methods to where my skillset was actually at. I have been playing the guitar on and off for the past 15 years but never really got serious with it. After my third lesson with Stevie I've got a much better understanding of music theory and am playing along with songs and progressing in ways that I had been stuck with for years. He's been flexible when I've had last minute changes due to a work schedule and really just has been a lot of fun to work with. My guitar lesson is something I really look forward to each week and I attribute that to a great teacher!

These lessons demonstrate good combination of guitar playing techniques and music theories which make you feel they are connected and help you to not only improve the playing but also understand the instrument better. I’ve had a great experience with Stevie so far. He has extensive knowledge of music theory and a lot of experience with guitar. He’s able to play songs by ear which is amazing, so you could learn literally any song you like with him. His teaching methods are top notch as well. He takes notes throughout the lesson to provide the most personalized experience. He also does a great job of answering questions, making everything easy to understand and digest. There’s honestly nothing I want in a guitar instructor that he doesn’t have so I’m very happy to have gone with him.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    My continuing education is not only ongoing but will continue for the rest of my life. I am always reading books, watching videos and working out theory on different instruments. This is truly my favorite part about music is that there will always be something to work on. Also I love the fact that there is rarely regression in musical ability. As long as you keep playing and learning you will always get better and never go backwards.
