Our story starts in 1985....Clay’s Restaurant was just a small Ma & Pa’s place serving comfort food off the beaten track of Clay Road and Hwy 6. Owned and operated by Houstonian Mr. Seaback who set out to build Clay’s into a great family restaurant full of fun for kids of all ages. Word soon spread about Clay’s award winning burgers, chicken fried steak

The owner, Damien, saw I was new and came over to introduce himself. He was a very nice guy that described what a wonderful restaurant he made. The wait staff is nice, they let us wait for our friends to come, and I want to go back to explore the cool "Old West Town" setup the place has.The food is outstanding as well: I ordered the Chicken Friend Steak and it was delicious. My wife got the burgers and they were great. The chicken strips were very healthy, just lightly and crispy breaded chunks of meat. The oil they used was very fresh and made all the fried food taste wonderful.10/10 can't wait to go back. Thanks Damien!Sal

We love Clay's! We have been enjoying their burgers for many years. Last night we both had Roger Burgers and they were excellent. The burgers are grilled perfectly with an old fashioned char on the outside and moist on the inside. The veggies are always super fresh.
