Had a great experience with Transcend Technology. He was able to remotely log into my PC, explain everything he was doing and help me to understand why it was running so slow. The PC is working like new again! I highly recommend them for your computer needs.

Mr. Tran is very thorough and has communicated regularly to keep me posted on the progress. He recovered close to 100% of the lost data. The ones not recovered were in sectors with physical damage. Fortunately, those had back ups.

A couple months ago, my Toshiba external drive 'broke'. It didn't show up in Explorer when connected and a window asking to reformat the unit would pop up. I searched for data retrieval services but the estimates I received were way beyond want I was comfortable paying so I made peace with the loss of the kids' baby pictures, family trips and work files. Almost. I did one last search on Thumbtack and found Peter Tran of Transcend Technology. He gave me a reasonable estimate for checking the unit out, and I decided to give it a shot. It worked! I was fortunate enough to have limited damage to my HD and much of the data was recovered. I would highly recommend Peter to anyone with a similar need for data recovery. His pricing is much more reasonable than the bigger online companies, he was very professional and kept me informed of all progress along the way.

Accidentally wiped out my files. Peter retrieved them,put them on an external drive, cleaned out viruses, added free Microsoft office and added a wireless Wi-Fi device for $130! Nice guy. Great work. Very pleased.

Peter responded very promptly and I was able to see him the same day. When I left my laptop with him to do diagonstics, I was kept updated with via text, which I appreciated. Because of issues on my laptop, I had to leave it there overnight as well, but I was able to pick it up fairly early the next day. When I went to pick it up, he explained the issues as well as how to find and utilize the anti-virus software he installed for me. Overall, he was very friendly, efficient, and affordable. I would work with him again in the future.
