FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is per session. Sessions are up to 3 hrs. Typically clients require at least 2-3 private sessions to get a good handle of the problem. If the dog requires more in depth work, there is a board and train option that could be priced depending on the severity of the issue. Additional distance/time driving surcharge.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My process is to listen to my customers, find out what their goals are, understand their problems and the propose a plan/strategy to accomplish the goal. Working with many dogs has taught me that all of them progress at different rates and each of them take a different amount of time depending on the dog.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
A veteran of the oil and gas industry, I have long dreamt of dedicating my work to dog rehabilitation. After finding Nacho (male boxer) and Tana (female boxer) on the streets of Midland, TX, I responsibly and diligently attempted to find their owners. After my search yielded no results, I adopted them both into his family, carefully rehabilitating Nacho’s aggression and Tana’s anxiety. A few years later, I discovered Coyo (male Carolina dog) wandering the streets of Houston, TX. After his owner was not found, Alejandro welcomed Coyo into his growing pack. Born out of my lifelong passion for working with dogs I created Pupsties, my family-owned small business, which pulls from my background of rehabilitating my own dogs, as well as those of family and friends. Through Pupsties, I am eager to share my knowledge with other dog owners.
