Throughout your project, my team and I went above and beyond the agreed scope of work, and we were repeatedly praised for our dedication and the quality of what we delivered. There was a simple misunderstanding regarding a ladder—an item I already own multiple identical versions of. As a contractor, I invest heavily in my tools, including ladders, and I have no reason to take something that doesn’t belong to me. Regarding the incident with the keys, I told you I could return them by 11 AM the next day. You were upset, and despite my offer to meet earlier, both of us had family obligations. You began calling me repeatedly—over 10 times—and eventually from different numbers. At that point, I felt disrespected and chose not to engage further to avoid unnecessary conflict. I still followed through and had the keys delivered as promised. Later, you contacted me about an issue at the property. I responded immediately and drove 45 minutes to address it, only to find out it had already been resolved. You didn’t notify me, and I still had to pay my crew for their time. I didn’t complain. Not long after, you reached out again with a business opportunity. We spoke on the phone, had a good conversation, and ended things on a positive note. Then, two weeks later, you posted a negative review—which completely blindsided me. From the beginning, there were red flags—like asking to meet during a Texans playoff game (which you mentioned you weren’t a fan of), while I had family at home asking me not to go. Still, I came through because I take pride in what I do and in keeping my word. I’m disappointed, not just by the review, but by the fact that it doesn’t reflect the full scope of our interactions or the effort we put into your project. I always strive for professionalism, integrity, and customer satisfaction—but I also expect respect in return.
