Families, couples, kids, corporate businesses, small business owners, etc
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ask questions. Make sure you understand what the photographer is offering and what you will receive. Also ask to see portfolios, ask about the paper your prints will be on. Find someone that understands your vision and style. The more comfortable you are with your photographer the better your photos will be. If you are shooting with pets or children make sure the photographer has patience and is used to posing creatively, and dealing with different moods as the shoot progresses. Long shoots can be frustrating for young children. For portrait photography ask to see edited and original proofs get an idea of how heavily your photos may be edited prior to the shoot. Basically ask questions lots of them. Great photographers will welcome your curiosity.
