Introduction: My work stands out from most because of my educational experience. Most florists do not pursue a degree in floral design-- much less from a distinguished school like the Benz School of Floral Design at Texas A&M University! My favorite part of my job is whenever I see the bride the day of her wedding. I love to bring in her bridal bouquet and see her and her family light up-- because of something I made!

Amanda was the most wonderful florist I could have asked for, from the very beginning until the very last minute of the wedding! I didn't have the greatest knowledge of flowers (let's face it, I knew nothing!), but Amanda knew names, colors and alternates for everything just by me simply describing them. On the day of the wedding Amanda went way beyond her duty and helped send the bridesmaids down the isle on time, and even stayed to help clean up after. Beyond the sheer enjoyment I had with how professional Amanda was, I'm still amazed at how caring and thoughtful one person can be. The arrangements turned out more beautiful than a bride could ever hope:) So beautiful that my Maid of Honor had to get married just so she could use Amanda for her own wedding!! (Kidding of course, but she did catch that gorgeous bouquet that I tossed!) I can't say thank you enough to Amanda, everything was truly breathtaking.

Amanda did a spectacular job with my flowers for my wedding in June. I have gotten endless comments about how beautiful my floral arrangements, bouquets, and boutonnières were! I could have not have trusted a better person with the floral arrangements for my special day! She is very helpful and will go step by step with you when deciding which flowers you want to choose. She is patient and always willing to give suggestions (especially when you don't know anything about flowers like me). You can't go wrong with Amanda Bee's Floral Designs

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I always say to account for 15-20% of your total wedding budget to allocate for your wedding flowers! This is obviously subjective, but as a general rule this should be what you should expect!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I love having a face-to-face meeting with a potential client, at the least a phone call. From there, we can discuss your flowers for your wedding or event and see if my style and your vision mesh!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree from Texas A&M in Horticulture with an emphasis in floral design and event planning. I love that I was able to find my dream job whilst in college!
