- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I love playing with new students because their are always new songs to learn how to play and I go home and I sit down and learn the song so that I can then turn around and teach it to you,
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I simply started doing it for free in college and found out quickly I was not only having a great time doing it, I was also Really Good at it.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I teach them to read music, and how to read a chord chart, and how to read what is called tablature, or Tab for short. Once you learn tab you can figure out how to play any song in the world. I am at all times about being a professional and having a great time doing it. Let's face it, learning an instrument can be a daunting task at first, its kind of like learning a new language. And it can be painful sometimes too. Boy, once you get about to or three months worth of callous on the tips of your fingers, playing gets so much easier.
