FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
There is no standard pricing system, as the jobs are so varied in nature. Once I have assessed the client need, I provide either an hourly estimate or a job quote, with or without material, as requested.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First and foremost is to ensure I understand my customer needs, so I can offer the solution that delivers the best result at the lower cost. Once the needs are assessed I provide the client with an estimate. For my customers piece of mind and mine, I am fully insured.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In Italy I was a project manager for a company specializing in malls interiors design and construction, where I have been in charge of construction sites. When I relocated to Houston, my main goals were to learn English (it is still work in progress) and understand how business was conducted here. I worked for nearly a year with a residential remodeling business. This is where I did learn about carpentry jobs, like wall structures, installation of tiles and laminate flooring, painting, as well as small plumbing and electrical interventions (such as change sockets, switches, install lamps and fans, install sink, garbage disposal, etc.) I am very conscientious and will not undertake a task where I can not give my best and ensure the client satisfaction. I travel with a fully equipped toolkit (drill, Circular Saws, Miter Saws, Oscillating Tools, Angle Grinders, Nail Guns, compressor, spray gun feed, brushes and rollers for painting, a ladder 7f. screwdrivers, pliers,) and if needed I will purchase or rent the perfect tool for the job.
