FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing depends on your vehicle, the service requested, and your location. Before scheduling, I explain the service scope and any diagnostic or travel fees. Additional work requires your approval. One-time, as-needed, and recurring fleet pricing can be discussed.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start by asking for your vehicle’s year, make, model, symptoms, and location. We discuss what can be handled during a mobile visit and agree on the scope and pricing. During the visit, I explain my findings and recommended next steps. If the job requires a shop, specialized equipment, or work beyond my qualifications, I tell you before proceeding. My current EV services exclude high-voltage work.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a degree from Penn Foster in Industrial Electronics and Electrical Systems, along with ASE xEV Electrical Safety Awareness — Level 1 and xEV Technician Electrical Safety — Level 2 certifications. I bring approximately 13 years of maintenance experience, including six years as an Army diesel mechanic and maintenance NCO, followed by industrial electrical and mechanical troubleshooting as a crane technician. I am continuing my EV training to expand my service capabilities.
