Dwayne and his team were awesome. Dwayne kept me up to speed on the progress of the move and how things were going. The team was very professional, courteous, efficient and knew exactly what needed to be done. They cleaned up after themselves and made sure I was happy throughout the entire process. I recently had the pleasure of using Premier Valet Movers for my cross-country move, and I cannot express enough how satisfied I am with their services. I hired this company last minute to move my daughter. I was quoted an arrival time between 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM, but the drivers arrived two hours late. As a result, we had to move in the rain, and there was no compensation offered for the inconvenience.
On top of that, the drivers stole her AirPods. I’ve been in communication with Dewayne regarding this issue, but there has been no resolution. The AirPods were not left on the truck as stated—they are currently being charged and their location changes daily. They moved my daughter a week ago, and there’s no way the AirPods are still fully charged. It’s clear they don’t care that their employees stole from a client.

Friendly Movers, But Poor Execution and Overpriced
I recently used Valet Movers for a one-bedroom move, and unfortunately, I would not recommend them.
To begin with, they canceled my move the morning of due to one of the mover’s wives going into labor. While I completely understand that life happens and emergencies are unpredictable, this last-minute cancellation pushed back my plans and created a major inconvenience. Moves can’t always be rescheduled easily. At the very least, I feel the company should’ve offered some kind of compensation or discount for the disruption.
When they did arrive the following day, they showed up without functioning equipment. Their dolly wasn’t working, and instead of replacing it (a $75 fix at Home Depot), they had to carry everything by hand, this isn’t the workers fault, but definitely on the owner. This made the move painfully slow and inefficient. What should have been a straightforward one-bedroom move ended up taking eight hours and costing me around $700+ the deposit & tip, by far the most I’ve ever spent on a move of this size.
While the movers themselves were friendly and polite, their handling of my items was careless. They dropped totes, bent one of my lamps beyond repair, broke parts of my furniture, and dirtied my couch and rugs by laying them directly on the truck floor and outside with no padding or protection. Only the glass and mirrors were wrapped properly. Dressers weren’t sealed or plastic-wrapped, which led to items falling out and things getting misplaced. I’m also missing screws and furniture legs as a result.
Despite the movers’ pleasant attitudes, the overall service was disappointing. Poor preparation, lack of proper equipment, no damage prevention, and no attempt at making things right after the initial cancellation make this a company I will not be using again.
