My name is Akshay Raju, owner and operator of Caveman Fitness! And I love what I do! I get the chance to help everyone from athletes to the elderly look, feel, and perform better! And live pain/injury free!

I believe everyone has an inner athlete, and I am here to help you bring that out!! With that being said, I harp on the use of proper form to activate and recruit muscle effectively. Proper form with adequate weight trumps heavy weight with broken form everytime!! I will not only help you learn exercises but teach you how to do them properly with correct form to boosts your results!!
I enjoy every bit of it! I've fallen in the love with process! Seeing my clients progress and break their own milestones is the most rewarding thing.

I highly recommend Akshay for a personal trainer. He is flexible and always willing to work with my schedule. At the end of a challenging day at work, my training sessions with Akshay are a great mental and physical relief and he somehow manages to pull energy out of me so I make it through the session. Akshay is professional, fun to work with, and has an easy to get along with personality. Another note worthy attribute is he is well-educated and is happy explain the nerdy physiological science that goes along with the training. As a former science major myslef, nerdy explanations are welcome. In fact, one might argue the nerdier the explanation the better. In my opinion, it installs confidence that he really knows what he’s talking about and goes without saying it’s refreshing to see someone passionate about fitness.

Akshay has been a wonderful trainer so far. He is very patient even when I am running late. He challenges me and pushes me to achieve my goals. I never thought I would be able to the exercises that I'm able to do now. He is always on time, very knowledgable, and takes the time to get to know you so you can get the most out of your workouts.

I worked with Akshay for only short period of time so far but will continue to do so. He is very professional and really knows his stuff. Whether you want to lose weight, gain strength, or train for specific event, he will cater the work out towards your goal. He definitely keeps your limits in mind and tries his best to do a workout that will really push you. He is very flexible in terms of timings and always is planning ahead of time, so you never have to worry about him canceling last minute. I'd recommend him to anyone who wants to be challenged and still have fun with their work outs.
