Introduction

Kickoff is a remote, high touch, 1-on-1 personal training and nutrition coaching service. We offer the most effective and affordable way to reach your goals with on-demand/ daily exercise and nutrition coaching with a certified personal trainer. We train all clients via text, video, and the Kickoff app so we can provide high touch coaching at the lowest cost. The cost is $3 a day, which is about 1/30th of what a conventional trainer charges. We also offer a 7 day trial to get started. We match you with the perfect coach based on a variety of factors from Thumbtack including goals, gender, ability level, age, and specific needs. Your coach then builds a highly personalized exercise and nutrition program and checks in each weekday to keep you accountable and on track. You'll start with a video call with your coach. You can also add live video workouts and strategy sessions to push yourself and get face-to-face feedback. All Kickoff coaches are certified personal trainers or registered dietitians and have passed our rigorous 20-point vetting process.

The sessions with a trainer is great. I didn’t know what to expect from online training sessions but it exceed the subscription fee. Personally, I feel it is better than in-person as I can save time traveling to gym and also use my own equipment.

My trainer develops a plan and helps to keep me on track. She reviews my progress and adjusts the plan accordingly. She also determines which exercises I enjoy most and makes sure to include them to help keep me motivated. The best $3 I spend per day!

I’ve been using Kickoff for a few months now and found it very effective. My trainer Becca is extremely responsive and has customized my workout routine based on my goals and the equipment I have available to me. Communication has been great; the app is simple to use and follow along with the workouts. I don’t use the diet functionality as much, but it’s a great add on for those interested.

Kickoff costs $3 per day. You will not find a better deal or better results.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
You’ll start with a free video chat with an expert trainer to discuss your goals and learn more about Kickoff works. Then your trainer will build a custom daily exercise and nutrition program just for you, check in daily via text to help you stay on track, and adapt your workouts and meal plans based on your feedback and progress. Your trainer will also work with you during live sessions over video chat, if you like.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of our trainers are certified personal trainers. Many are also registered dietitians, licensed physical therapists, yoga instructors and more. Just let us know if you are looking for any particular skill set.
