Hello, I am a piano teacher who is passionate of teaching piano. I have been teaching over 60 students (most of them started below 13 years old), and have made them became great piano performers and passed all of the exams they took. I also would like to teach adults that they didn't have a chance to take piano lessons when they were young, but they are interested in learning piano as their hobby. Please also take a look at the video I posted here, and I posted my own performance periodicly and some of my students performance as your reference. I hold ABRSM Grade 8 Piano Certificate and Trinity College London ATCL Diploma. I also got full piano scholarship at Graceland University. I recently purchased a Kawai GX-1 grand piano, and I would allow my students to perform on it when they are ready. I am also currently affiliated with National Music Teachers Association, Texas Music Teachers Association and Katy Music Teachers Association. Anson is truly talented and that is reflected in his passion for piano. He is patient, observant, and he is intuitive. He adjusts his lesson to your level and he teaches at a pace you can easily understand. His house is a clean, safe and warm place that makes learning all the more easy. His passion for piano sets a high bar and motivates you to want to be as proficient. I appreciate him trying his very best and made me want to do my best too. For the first piano free lesson, I would like to ask you some questions about your expectation and your goals of learning piano from me, I can help different individuals to achieve their own piano goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have passed ABRSM grade 8 piano exam and Trinity College ATCL performance diploma by the age of 18. After that, I got full piano scholarship at Graceland University. I have spent 4 years learning piano from Dr. Charles J. Schmidt.
