Our mission is to Make Musicians. In doing so, we are not only concerned with teaching a student to play an instrument. Additionally, we are wanting to give the student everything he/she needs to know to be a musician. We incorporate music theory, rhythm studies, piano lessons for vocal students at no additional costs, all because we encourage creativity. We want you to be a musician, not simply someone who can play an instrument! We also have an edge when it comes to vocal students. We monitor their progress by recording them singing songs of their choice every other week. By the time they reach one month of lessons, many are already hearing improvements. Seeing people grow in their gifts and knowledge of music.

John is very professional and serious about his work. He takes notes when we were having lessons and recorded my progresses. He has a lot of students and teaching experiences. His studio is awesome. He gave me homework based on my request and that was helpful. I purchased twelve 1 hour sessions. The first 30 mins is warm up and basic practice and the second half is focusing on a song that we chose together. Highly recommended!

John has helped me learned the very basics of the piano and has been building my understanding and skill of the piano with each lesson! I am only a month and a half into my lessons with John and I am already playing parts of a Coldplay and John Legend song on the keyboard! I really liked how patient John was with me during my lessons and how prepared he was with lesson plans, resources, and optional homework assignments! My experience has been great and I plan on continuing lessons!

John Cantu appears to be very knowledgeable, and professional. He explained the process of me becoming a better singer. He will very prompt. The only way my experience could have been improved is if he was on the 1st floor.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure they can teach music. It doesn't matter if they're the greatest musician in the world. Teaching is a trade of its own. A good balance of musicianship and the ability to teach is of equal importance.
