Mr. Pavlo Savitski is a passionate piano teacher and music educator specializing in piano performance, music theory, and early childhood music development. A proud honors graduate of the University of Houston, he offers both private and group lessons across the Houston area.
Growing up in a musical family, Mr. Pavlo began piano studies at the age of four under the guidance of his mother and first teacher, Roksana Savitski. Those early lessons and performances sparked a lifelong love for music and inspired his journey as a teacher.
Since 2018, Mr. Pavlo has been teaching students of all ages—from young beginners to adult learners—crafting personalized lessons to match each student’s goals and learning style. Mr. Pavlo has been teaching my daughters (11 and 8) piano for the past few months, and it has been such a positive experience for our family. One of the biggest conveniences has been having him come to our home each week, which makes lessons easy to fit into our busy schedule and keeps things consistent for the girls. He has a clear, thoughtful plan for their learning, communicates expectations well, and is always punctual and reliable. He is encouraging and motivating as a teacher, and we have noticed the girls becoming more confident and engaged with their practice. Mr. Pavlo is an excellent instructor who has taught my children piano and music theory since September 2021. His guidance has helped them achieve significant success in various competitions. One child earned first place at the 2025 HMTA Concerto Competition, as well as first place at the Open Sonority Instrumental Competition and a first prize with special honor plus at the XVI Sonatina and Sonata International Youth Piano Competition in 2024. My other child secured second place at the 2025 HMTA Piano Contest and second place at the HMTA Concerto Competition in 2024. Both children have also consistently earned gold medals for HMTA theory testing under his instruction. We highly recommend his classes for anyone looking for a dedicated and effective music teacher.

At that age, he was very shy and didnt really know what to expect, but from the very first lessons, he felt comfortable enough to give Mr. Pavlo his full attention and trust. As a parent, that meant everything to us.Mr. Pavlo has such a calm and patient way of teaching. He understands children and knows how to guide them gently while still helping them grow. His feedback is always encouraging and thoughtful, which helped our son build confidence little by little. Mr. Pavlo is great!! The kids loved having him as their teacher. He was so patient and kind and they learned a lot in a short time. He even helped us find a piano that was suitable for our home.
