"I've had my first 4 guitar lessons with Vaughn, and look forward to continuing our lessons. He has a knack for making music theory feel less daunting, and more memorable/functional knowledge. I've already noticed an improvement in my guitar playing. "

"Mr. August is a great music instructor. He is patient and has a genuine enthusiasm for teaching. My son actually looks forward to his weekly lessons because Mr. August makes it a fun process. As well, I can hear the growth in my son's piano skills. We couldn't have asked for a better teacher. -E. Fox"

"I had a 45 minute piano lesson with Ryan. He was extremely professional and also made me feel very comfortable asking questions. He had a very easy manner and did not intimidate me. I will definitely have more lessons with him and recommend him to my friends as well. FANTASTIC!!"

"Over the last 10 months I have been taking weekly piano lessons at the Vanover Music Academy in Houston with Dr. Krume Andreevski. My teacher is a highly educated talented pianist with real-life teaching experience while actively involved in performing musical activities. As an adult student I enjoy learning piano in a very casual, relaxed atmosphere. However, I very much appreciate that Krume’s teaching attitude provides strong discipline and professionalism. Friendly, approachable, organized, enthusiastic and very articulate Krume cares deeply about improving his piano teaching practices. He shows great flexibility to best accommodate each student’s unique skills, abilities, goals and needs. I do my scales, arpeggios, chords, Hanons and piano course exercises but at the same time my teacher insists on me playing Schuman (for now) because the ultimate goal of learning piano is making music. With exemplary stage presence and charisma, Krume has a special gift to connecting with his audience and always gets a great emotional response from his public. Joyfully alive, skillfully delectable, honest and filled with heartfelt emotion, his piano playing is always inspiring. I strongly recommend Mr. Krume Andreevski for students of all skill levels and ages who understand that learning the piano is a serious commitment. To achieve piano playing mastery you need the best quality teaching. "

"Kirstie, Ava and I have been so happy with her piano lessons with you. You are such an awesome teacher. You are organized which helps keep Ava organized. I love how you always send a follow up with what was covered during the lesson and with what her homework is for the coming week. I cannot praise you enough! Thanks for being such a great teacher and motivator for Ava. We are both very grateful for all you do. "

"Mr. Chan works well with my children. He is gracious and tactful in his criticism, and always positive and encouraging. He is teaching them very good technique, which is important for piano skills and ergonomics. He pushes them to excel, and they have improved tremendously since we began lessons."

"I found Andy on Thumbtack and am very happy I did. Andy is a very skilled pianist and great match for what I was looking for in a teacher. I played for about 8 years as a kid, and dabbled with piano and other instruments ever since, so have a good ear and sense for music, but my mechanics and theoretical knowledge are sorely lacking. Andy was quick to recognize and understand the kind of instruction that I need and the biggest impact thus far is in teaching me how to practice. He's versatile in his own skills, so is able to focus on my desire to steer towards blues/jazz. My wife was skeptical about finding and hiring a teacher via thumbtack, but now, after seeing my progress in less than a month, she's interested in joining in the fun and having Andy teach her as well. I highly recommend him."

"John Carney was a great source of 'reason' for me in a time of chaos. He helped me to see beyond the fray, and focus on real-life issues. John brings a unique perspective that quickly differentiates undesirable symptoms from the root of the issue. I like to hit things head-on, and not waste time on incidentals. That's what John helped me to do! Can't say "THANK YOU" enough!"
