Global Evolution Training (GET) is for youth and adults, athletes and non-athletes. I played 13 years of pro soccer in the English Premier League, MLS, Sweden, and Croatia. I hold NASM, Functional Range Conditioning, Functional Range Assessment, Kettlebell, and TRX certifications. I also have a master’s in philosophy from Stanford University, which keeps my approach clear, logical, and grounded in how bodies adapt over time. I coach strength, conditioning, mobility, and joint health. If you play soccer, I add position work, technical work, decision making, and game IQ. If you are a general client, we focus on pain-free movement, practical strength, and habits that stick. Any can be added on that base of mobility and strength such as power, speed, endurance, and explosiveness. FRC is a core tool. We build usable range, not just loose flexibility, and then load it so joints get stronger at end ranges. CARs, PAILs, and RAILs become simple daily work. The result is fewer aches, cleaner mechanics, faster cuts and sprints, and knees, hips, shoulders, and spine that hold up under stress. Sessions stay simple and measurable. I assess, make a plan, give clear cues, and track progress. Field or gym. One on one or small groups. In person or remote. You get a coach who blends elite playing experience with evidence-based training and straight talk. The goal is the same for everyone: move better, get stronger, stay healthy, and perform.

Johann is a very knowledgeable and personable trainer with a uniquely effective approach. Having spent years as a professional soccer player you know his understanding of body mechanics is elite. And as a recent Stanford grad, his ability to process information and design effective programs specifically tailored to client needs is also second to none. I learned a tremendous amount in my sessions with him, and my physique and understanding of my own physicality has grown leaps and bounds under his tutelage. He also had the ability to push me to levels of performance I never could have attained on my own, while simultaneously making the process fun and enjoyable. I can’t recommend him highly enough.
