I asked if he was available for general installation work, including picture hanging, curtains, mirrors, and a wall mounted wine rack. He arrived on time, introduced himself professionally, and walked through every item I needed installed. We discussed placement, spacing, and the overall look I wanted, and he executed everything with precision. His attention to detail truly stood out. After he left, I walked around to admire the finished work and noticed something that impressed me even more. I had previously attempted to install my own curtains, which left crooked rods and several holes in the wall. Without me asking, Mr. Hunter removed the rods, reinstalled them correctly, and filled in all of my old holes. That small detail meant so much it showed pride in his work and genuine care for the customer. I hired Gene to install a new storm door. He responded right away with a quote and was immediately available to start the job. Gene was absolutely amazing front beginning to end. To start, he offered to pick up the storm door that I ordered from Home Depot, which helped me out so much because it would have never fit into my car; He was responsive, punctual, and even finished the job ahead of schedule despite the obstacles that came up along the way. So, speaking of obstacles, I have had nothing but them since buying this house, however, this was the first time I did not stress out or panic, all all thanks to Gene with his resourcefulness and know-how. He was able to tackle every issue that came up due to the unforeseen structural problems with my home, and then he would quickly come up with a solution and was then fix it, involving me only if it was necessary. Because of Gene’s resourcefulness, knowledge, and being someone that is, no doubtingly, a master of his craft, I was able to relax and not stress out over a home project for the first time since purchasing my home. And, another thing worth mentioning is how it was a breath of fresh air to be able to do business with someone that is just trying to do an honest day’s work, help people out and is just not in it to make extra money off of you. I am a firm believer that you give credit where credit is due and this is why I felt that Gene deserved such a long, detailed review. If you are looking for someone who is knowledgeable, resourceful, has integrity, and gives meticulous attention to detail - you need not look any further.
