Update: after my initial review submitted yesterday, Melky has been very responsive and professional. He explained the issue he had and what caused the lack of communication over the weekend. I greatly appreciate this. He completed the job today and I highly recommend him. Thank you Melky
Respond to customer inquiries and actually show up to complete the job. Very disappointing that Thumbtack would risk its reputation by promoting these types of contractors. Melky left the job unfinished and has not responded to 1 email and 2 phone calls after saying last Friday he would be here Saturday at 9 am to complete. Shameful

I recently had a small attic closet finished, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. The project included drywall installation, insulation, painting, and adding an air supply AC vent to keep the space cool. From start to finish, the team was fantastic.
They were extremely professional—covering all the walkways with plastic to protect our floors, and working steadily without unnecessary delays. I was especially impressed by how clean and organized they were, tidying up and removing floor coverings at the end of each day.
In just three days, the work was completed, and the finished space looks amazing. The crew was polite, courteous, and incredibly hard-working. I will absolutely be hiring them again for future projects. Highly recommended!

Melky went above and beyond to help me with a long list of to do items that other people in the industry would’ve maybe rejected and not bothered doing. He went to the store to purchase supplies that we needed for our ideas and made professional recommendations about where I should put certain paintings and other pieces of memorabilia and went and shopped for the necessary supplies. He went above and beyond. I would recommend him to all of my friends 100%
