Chris was excellent!! Very knowledgeable about what genre of music to play and when to play it! Lighting was great! We were trying to do a line dance and couldn't quite get the steps to the beat 1and he knew EXACTLY why and played the song we needed! Then our line dance turned out great! I will definitely hire him again when we need a DJ and would definitely recommend him to anyone who needs a DJ!

My daughter had private lessons in vocal music with Ms. Stephanie Derrick for almost a year. The experience was absolutely rewarding and far exceeded our expectations. The excellent instruction she received prepared her to get accepted into a performing arts academy! Ms. Stephanie is a well educated, accomplished and highly trained musician not to mention, very professional and personable. My daughter enjoyed going for her lessons as Ms. Stephanie always made it fun and not feel like work. I would highly recommend her teaching instruction to anyone looking to get a solid foundation in musical principles or advance to the next level in performing. Ms. Derrick is the one who can get you there! We look forward to the opportunity to train with her again in the near future.

I’ve been going to the DFW Rock Guitar Academy for a little over two months and it’s amazing to me how much I have been able to learn taking lessons from Jon Chorba. I’ve had a guitar for a few years and tried using websites, books and games to learn to play. While they helped to teach me some of the basics I never felt like I was really able to put it all together and make any real progress. As a guy in my late 40’s I was a little hesitant to start taking lessons but after working with Jon he has proven to be an extremely patient teacher. He’s helped me to accomplish much more after just a few months than I would have thought possible. Jon has a great teaching style and really tailors the lessons based on how quickly you progress and the goals you are trying to achieve as a guitar player. I’ve already been able to learn one of my favorite songs and because of my lessons I’m able to learn many others! If you’re interested in learning guitar and you’re looking for a great teacher I would highly recommend giving Jon a try.

I learned SO much from your husband. I basically credit most of my music learning to him! I think he was the first person who really pushed me to be a better musician in fact. I had just learned chords after being sheet music trained for many years, and I was still learning how to improvise better. I remember on one of our songs for select band I was having a hard time figuring out what to do to improvise. The song was Johnny B Goode. He kept pushing me to try new ideas and to not give up and be mediocre and take the easy way out. Finally things were pieced together and I felt like that was one of the moments where I broke my fear to improvise. He also told us to be prepared, professional musicians. I never thought about worship being something where we should aim for musical preparedness, but mr T was definitely right. Over the years, I have seen the difference in prepared musicians versus unprepared musicians. I think when worship teams are prepared and have thoroughly learned the set, it is easier for the audience to be more receptive to worship. I think the term he always used for this was "musical excellence." He sparked my love for being on a worship team and since then, I have always been involved with worship. I am so thankful for the positive influence he had in my life!

Damon performed at my party in Trinity Groves recently. He and his band were on time, brought their own equipment and were set up before my guests arrived. His vocals were amazing and the band - all consummate professionals. It was a great night - they played longer than expected - which was great and his playlist was perfect for my audience. You can't go wrong with Damon he is a pleasure to work with and a gifted artist.

They are a power duo. They continue to surprise their audience by the variety of performances they provide. Their music always captivates the interests of our residents, they provide a chance for our elderly to socialize and live in the moment.

I first contacted Mark after seeing an online advertisement for piano lessons in the Addison area. I mentioned to him that I was interested in learning piano and had absolutely no knowledge of piano, although I did have a background in music as a vocalist and trombonist for a band in college. He cheerfully followed up with me and had me come in to the piano gallery for a preview lesson, introducing me to the basics and making recommendations on keyboards and music. After only a few months of lessons I was on my way to a newly discovered passion. Mark has been instrumental in advancing my musical abilities and has been extremely flexible in scheduling lessons, as well as very adaptable to my abilities.

"The beat was going strong, Playing my favorite song, And I could tell it wouldn't be long till..." My friends were, "Singing, I love rock and roll, So put another dime in the jukebox, baby, I love rock and roll, So come and take your time and dance with me, Ow!" Joan Jett must have been there because I heard lots of my friends saying something like this when Greg rocked it at a party at my home. And as Billy Joel reminded us, "The whole world loves American movies, blue jeans, jazz, and rock and roll...."

Mark is a good player and more than good enough to teach beginners through expert players. Never intimidates, and has a good way of explaining the basics of playing. Always on time for appointments and very professional.

As a local musician myself, I wanted a great band for my 60th birthday party I had heard Plunder Monkeys at Bronco’s in Hurst and was blown away! Not only was the music way above average for the local music scene but the music they played was way beyond the usual fair you normally hear from a classic rock band Sure, they pulled off some of the greatest hits by Santana and Tom Petty, but when the did a flawless mini set of Steely Dan, the Guess Who and STIX, I was sold! I Hired them that night for my private birthday bash in April They showed up on time, started on time, and made it a great night for everyone! Hell, they even let me sit in on a song! Great show! Great band! Great attitude! Great sound! Best band around in my opinion!

Senior Process Engineer at Finisar Corp I have been a guitar student of Mr. Menger’s for 13+ years and I can tell you this guy is amazing and great at what he does. He is very organized, but will tailor your guitar class to your specific needs. I was an absolute beginner with no previous musical experience in 1998 when I started taking private lessons, but I knew what I wanted from the class before I started lessons, and Chris has helped me achieve that. He can teach you how to play music from any genre (jazz, pop, rock, Christian, etc.).

We seem to be one of only a few professional Big Bands/Swing Bands left around who have a repertoire of over 150 tunes.

I perform American and World Celtic/Folk/Renaissance music. It also includes a mix of inspirational tunes from spiritual gospel style hymns to favorite old ballads from the past (Stephen F. Foster, etc.) and civil war era tunes; all with strong world drums and rhythms. Christmas time music includes the old world Christmas songs and tunes from all over of the world from ages past. We also play for weddings and receptions, you choose the music.
