About
First I have learned to teach, I'm not just a good dancer.
There are barriers to study, learning and competence and I know how to assist you through those barriers as they relate to dance.
I specialize in breaking things down into small repetitious pieces so that you can become competent with them as quickly and easily as you are capable.
My goal is to teach you toward attaining YOUR goals (and if you aren't sure what your dance goals are I can help you discover your options) for learning to dance, not morph your goals into what is better for me or someone else.
Also -- IF I am not the best instructor to help you to your goals I will help you find the right instructor who will best help you.
Peoples lives change when they learn to dance --
They don't get a better job, get paid more or have less stress but they find new friends and have a healthy hobby that relieves stress and enlarges their world in a social creative way.
- Awkward men and women that aren't sure how to talk to the opposite sex -
- People trying to meet others but avoid drinking and pick up joints -
- Couples trying to find something to do to enliven their relationship -
- Fiances not wanting to be goofy for their first dance -
- People of every walk of life -
find smiles, laughter and friends in dance

We used Beata for our wedding dancelessons and had the best time! She was super helpful as we were first time “dancers” and made it so much fun. Highly recommend!

Beata was absolutely incredible to work with and truly went above and beyond to prepare us for our wedding.
From the start, she was highly organized and professional, offering a fantastic package for us to learn our first dance. She always made herself available, accommodated our schedules, and ensured we felt fully supported throughout the entire process.
Beata didn’t just teach us our routine; she expertly cut and blended the music for our dances, helped coach the mother-son dance, and even took the time to customize the walk-down-the-aisle song. Because of her dedication, we feel completely prepared and confident going into our first dance. That confidence is priceless on such a big day, and we couldn’t have done it without her.
Beata is not only talented but genuinely cares about her couples, and it shows in everything she does. We are so grateful for her!

Beata is fantastic! We signed up to learn a few simple dances for a friends wedding and to prepare for our sons wedding in the fall. She is a great instructor and makes learning to dance so much fun! We've had a great time and have enjoyed the break from work and our everyday routine. Highly recommend!

My fiancé and I are not particularly dance inclined, but Beata was an incredible instructor and crafted amazing lessons for us as we planned our first dance for our wedding. Her tips and tricks were like magic as we implemented them into our routine! Highly recommend Beata for any of your dancing needs!

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All prices are based on a 45 minute hour lesson in a studio where I am scheduled.
First 2 Private Lessons (discounted 20%) $75 for an hour
Regular Private Lesson Rate $85 for an hour
Wedding Private Lesson Rate $75 for an hour
Regular 10 Private Lesson Block $750
Regular 5 Private Lesson Block $400
Average for Private Lesson at your Location $150 - 190
Group Lesson already Scheduled Average $15 per person per hour
Group Lesson set up for your group vary from $100 - $300
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I am available by phone to discuss goals before starting or I offer a free meet of about 20 minutes at a studio scheduled around my other lessons if needed to discuss goals and options.
Then I offer a discount on the first 2 lessons so that I can get an idea of your goals, how best to move toward them, your retention and challenges.
After the first 2 lessons we decide, together, how best to proceed toward your goals. Sometimes it includes going out to social venues to get you comfortable with "real" social settings, or seeing the different environments and settings to help decide what direction to head with the dancing.
Every student is different -- their goals, plans, desires related to dance are important and widely varied so every "process" is a bit different. But I do offer discounts on small blocks of lessons 10 or 5 when students know they need some consistent progress. Also Pay-as-you-go is fine.
I have some students for 2 lessons and some students for years and everything in between.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I worked for a popular franchised dance studio for about 5 years when I started in 1980. Since then I have studied many styles and techniques with many champion and notable instructors. 3 years in the 90s when the Feather Awards (dance related Oscars) were active i was one of 3 nominees for Top Female Swing Instructor (at that time that was the dance circuit on which I was competing and teaching nationally).
