Introduction: My job is to help and guide my clients achieve their health and fitness objects and goals. When I first start with a client, he/she is either overweight or obese. Using my UFIT methods, we work and sweat together overtime and can gradually see positive physical and mental change. This is very rewarding to me. I know that in a way I'm not only helping them achieve a better quality of life but also potentially improving their longevity.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

    I'm a certified Personal Trainer and Sport Nutrition Advisor through AFTA (American Fitness Training of Athletes). As a young man, I started training in Blue Dragon Kung Fu martial arts. My interests and skills progressed and developed to become a martial arts instructor. While attending a University of Houston weight training course and working at the university fitness center, the experiences inspired me to integrate weight training, martial arts and fitness into my daily life. I trained many martial arts students of all ages for over 15 years. My enthusiasm for martial arts and hardcore fitness training has more than prepared me for the philosophy of Ultra Fitness Integrated Training (UFIT). This is incorporating fitness training with weight training, core exercises, plyometric training, Yoga technique & martial arts philosophy for a full body workout – in development of muscle strength & endurance plus cardio endurance for mental toughness.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

    You and the provider have to connect with each other. He/she has to understand your goals and you needs to trust his/her training methods and philosophy. Is he/she fit and healthy? How flexible and knowledgeable about his/her training method and getting fit?
