Dog Training

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Priceless Training! I can not thank Felicity and Teresa enough. As a first time dog mom I felt lost on how to control my rescue dog Pearl! I had been struggling with reactivity, leash pulling and barking for 6months until I called them for help.😩 They taught me how to communicate with Pearl's fearful response with positive feedback and corrections. Also they brought their dogs and kids to help desensitize Pearl. I really appreciate how much effort they go into to help. Fast forward to now. I can do things I never thought were possible! Farmers markets, Lowes, coffee shops, parks. I can give Pearl a life she deserves because of Felicity and Teresa. Truely amazing people and I couldn't have done it without them. If you're looking to train your dog they are the dynamic duo for you!

Dog Training

They communicated great with us. They taught us well and gave us the tools to train our pomsky puppy and 2 other adult dogs. We would've not been able to train him especially since our puppy is not the easiest to handle. They did great helping to train our 3 dogs. I can see the difference before and now.

Dog Training

Teresa and Felicity were absolutely amazing! Their knowledge and insight were invaluable. We learned so much, down to even the most minor tweaks of the way we had been training our dogs and I literally witnessed immediate success several times. Both of my dogs loved both ladies and were extremely responsive to their lessons. The main reason I originally sought out help was because one of my dogs, Charlie, was resource guarding. We discerned that it was fear based (she’s partially blind and disabled). We put together a plan to negate any unnecessary aggression she was showing in regards to the resource guarding, and were also given awesome and smart solutions (that never would have occurred to me!) and she has shown incredible improvement! I’m so happy with our results. Not only did they work with Charlie on those issues, but they helped us work with our other dog, Bennie, as well. In just a few visits, they both learned: park it, down/down stay, leave it, drop it, “get back”, come, and my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE, wait at the door. Among other tips and tricks. They both no longer dart or charge out the front door. And they learned that so quickly! I cannot recommend TDS Canine Solutions highly enough. They were super pleasant, friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and funny to boot. They incorporated and taught my 8-year-old daughter amazingly as well. It really was a training course for the whole family. They tailored everything to our needs, lifestyle, dog (dis)abilities and personality types. You won’t be disappointed.

Dog Training

We signed up Emmitt (strong-willed 3 year-old Lab/Great Pyrenees Mix) for training with TDS. Emmitt had always been a good dog, with potential to be great if he could overcome this one very annoying and troublesome flaw – reactivity to other dogs. (He thought he needed to protect us.) Also, we have a new grandson on the way, and wanted to make sure Emmitt would be in control around the baby. So, we began goal-based training sessions to 1) desensitize his reactivity issue and 2) get him ready for the baby. I have to say, the benefits have gone way beyond the goals set. Emmitt is a completely different dog. He has progressed tremendously beginning with the first session. The way he recognizes me as his “leader” and his rapid progress on his obedience training has been amazing. At first I was skeptical of some of the methods. For example, having him tethered to me with a 6 foot leash when I was doing my routine around the house seemed crazy. However, after doing it for a week, even without the leash, he happily followed me everywhere and looked to me to tell him what to do! All instruction is based on positive reinforcement only. The trainers are great to work with. They come to you (to your house or another designated location). For us, it was a park near our house that we used for some of the training sessions. This is much better and more sustainable, since the dog is being trained in his regular environment. In our case, they even brought their own dogs to help work with Emmitt, and left a baby stroller & doll at our house to acclimate him to having a baby around. Emmitt still has a ways to go, but is much less reactive to other dogs. And most importantly, we are confident he will not be problem around the new baby either. My experience with TDS has been outstanding. I highly recommend them, especially if you have a unique training need.

Dog Training

I wish that I could check all 5 criteria: work quality, professionalism, responsiveness, value, and punctuality! We saw a difference in our dog within days. They did a fantastic job assessing our dog and our concerns. I was so relieved after our first visit. I knew that we were in good hands. We have a dog that we obtained from an animal shelter. She spent 2 months in a shelter environment before she was 6 months old. She was fearful, untrusting of visitors to our home, and unpredictable on walks when encountering other dogs.
