I make cakes for special occasions such as birthdays, weddings, baby showers, etc. Cupcakes are have been a big hit lately. I have been doing a lot more cupcake orders with special toppers to match the theme of the event. I also do flowers for weddings and special occasions. Invitations and party favors can also be done to make your occasion stand out.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ask questions and communicate. You want to feel comfortable selecting a vendor and you want to communicate your vision and work with someone who will help make your vision a reality.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Custom cakes take so many hours to create. I have had a cake that took a total of 54 hours to complete, and so it was certainly worth the price tag that came with it.
