I have been teaching violin on a continuing basis since receiving my degree in 2008, but have taught various students, on and off for over 20 years. I began teaching beginning piano 2-1/2 years ago and also had a beginning viola student for about a year. I have taught in various music stores in TX and AZ and also travel to students homes on occasion. I have played in many orchestras over the years, including three paid ones. I enjoy teaching students from age 7 to adult.

After speaking to and meeting this remarkable lady, I adore her readiness to help. I appreciate that she is friendly, easy to talk with. Cathy made me feel comfortable in taking classes at my age and having the confidence I can learn for I know nothing at all. I'm sure she's a great teacher for all ages. Cathy have shown to be professional and experience in her profession.

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
They should know that my pricing is on the low side and very reasonable, and as long as they communicate with me if they can't pay for that week's lesson I'm fine with that and I will work with them.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I find out if they were a beginner or have some experience with a violin or piano and if they have any books or music they've worked with, to bring those to their first lesson or other lessons too. I especially work with the kids when they are preparing for competitions through schools.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelors of Music degree in Violin Performance.
